Royal Bayreuth 7" Lettuce Leaf handled plate. Porcelain. Bavaria. c. 1902. Marvelous figural serving plate relief molded in the form of a lettuce leaf. The handle is the leaf stem twisted over to make a loop. Colored in several shades of green w/ yellow flowers. Often used for serving lemon wedges. Measures approximately 7". (Pictured on p. 53, #344, of "Royal Bayreuth - A Collector’s Guide" by Mary J. McCaslin). CONDITION: Excellent (pings) wear to color on some raised portions. Displays beautifully.
