Rosina bold floral black & gold c&s. Porcelain. England. c. 1952+. Wonderful Rosina bold floral black and gold cup & saucer. Bold pattern of white flowers against a deep black ground transfer on the top 2/3 of cup and on approximately 3/4 of the saucer. Hand painted pink buds & green leaves w/ touches of yellow & green at center of the white flowers. Bottom of cup, saucer well and handle are all bright gold. Cup interior is white. Hand painted gilt edges; ring on cup interior. Lightly scalloped edges. Extremely dramatic! CONDITION: Very Good - pings; (rubbing to gold in saucer well; some scratches to gold; no chips, or cracks). Displays fantastically. |
