Mason’s hand painted "Brocade" plate #2. Ironstone. England. c. 1900-1930s. Absolutely fabulous! Ivory ground with floral background transfer in burgundy. Heavily hand painted over the transfer with 8 colors! (Yellow, in under glaze; rust-brown, cobalt, medium blue, aqua, green, pink & gilt in over glaze). Colors are very vivid. Gilt edged. Made especially for Carl Forslund, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Measures approx. 6". CONDITION: Very Good (some crazing)
