Early Pietra Dura Flower Pin. This beautiful Sterling Silver Pin is a collectors item. It is neatly fashioned with three different floral designs. Each flower is in the subtle pastel colors (pink, yellow, blue, white, and green) typical of the early Pietra Dura pieces. It measures 1-1/2 in. long x 1-1/8 in wide x 3/16 in. high. Has the early C clasp which probably dates it back to the late Victorian era. The Plaque is set with four sturdy prongs on a studded reinforced back. It weighs 19.4 grams and has a barely visible inclusion to the right of the upper petal in the picture, otherwise in very good condition. Marked 825 with a foreign hallmark.
