Stunning Retro 18K Yellow Gold Star Burst Style Pin with 22 Rich Blue Sapphires. This is an unusual three dimensional look with rising Gold curved arch bursts being interwoven with 2.5mm Sapphires rising through them on pedestal-like prong settings. The curved arches are further enhanced by an alternating of mat and shiny finishes. The 22 Sapphires are estimated to weigh about 1.50 carats (tcw). This striking pin measures about 1-3/8 inches in diameter, and has a depth of about 3/4 inch. Has a hallmark that we cannot decipher, could be foreign. It weighs 17 grams. A very significant piece, extremely well made, and in excellent condition.
