Rare Vintage Chinese Pewter Horse Head. 13 x 6x 16.5" (LWH) A fascinating large & hand wrought pewter horse head, with a classic Chinese look. Has bronze eye trim, glass eyeballs, & great teeth. This is a mesmerizing piece, i've never seen anything like it before. Ahh hand wrought, chased, & soldered. Has a few dings, but in light of it's age & delicate nature, insignificant. Signed, Wing Fat, Hong Kong, stamped 1952.
 

Rare Japanese Asparagus serving dish 8x8x1.25" A strangely & finely painted asparagus serving dish. The center bottom has has five dimensional asparagus, over painted with fish. One I recognize as a puffer. The side trays are scalloped, & over painted with both a fish & shellfish. Probably Meiji period. Your help identifying this mark would be appreciated.

Imperial Meiji Kyoto Fuzon Gilt Trumpet Vase 16.5cm x 10cm base x 7.7cm rim. Rarely seen outside of museums, this early Meiji period, (1868-1912) Kyoto Fuzon, "Kyoto Maple Mountain", banded trumpet vase is the finest i've ever had, & amongst the finest i've ever seen. Generously gilt all over, nothing is left out to the fine detail of this piece. A winged Goddess/Princess, glances with concern at the open mouthed golden dragon on blue ground as it approaches her. Her attendant rushes confidently with a Lotus flower offering/distraction to save the Princess from the serpents wrath. A Phoenix bird flutters skyward above her head, also on a blue background, symbolizing a happy ending. the center band is wrapped with a green & black sash that ties above her head with coral, lavender, & gold terminations. A rare & perfect beauty

and wear, not to mention the usual dings and wear you'd expect from a piece this old.

Chinese Pewter Serving Box 4 x 6 x 6" Early 20th Century Chinese Pewter Box-shaped Serving Dish. Jade and Agate stones adorn the lid. Botanical motif engraved on one face of the box, Chinese inscription wishing a long life on the other. Dragon handle on each side. Excellent Condition.
 

1950s Vintage Ando Red Cloisonne Vase 5 x 5 x 7" 1950s Vintage Japanese Cloisonne Vase. Unmarked, but clearly Ando. A work of exemplary Cloisonne craftsmanship. On the front of the vase, a delicate flowers and leaves appear to float over red background. Plant motifs and a bird are rendered in the background itself, subtly incorporated into the allover irregular pattern. Gilt rim at the opening and the foot of the vase. Excellent Condition.
 

1950s Vintage Ando Cloisonne Dish 8 x 8 x 1" 1950s Vintage Japanese Cloisonne dish. I believe Ando. An illustration of a Turtle and a Dragon at the center features unique coloration and stylized rendering. The rest of the dish is maroon with a curlicue pattern all over and a gilt rim. The back features the same pattern as the front, with a blue center. Excellent condition.
 

19th Century Cloisonne Charger Meiji 12 x 12 x 1.25" late 19th, early 20th Century Japanese Cloisonne Charger. Incredible coloration and attention to detail is evident on the front of the piece in the delicately painted pink flowers, emerald leaves, and branches on a bright blue background. Against the gilt edge, a deep purple vine subtly accents the rest of the colors. Gilt curlicue pattern on blue-green background on the back with blue in the center and gilt edge at the foot. Excellent condition.
 

Chinese Musical Instrument 11 x 7.5 x 29" Percussive Xylophone-like Chinese Musical Instrument. 5 hollow wooden gourds hang from a metal rod, tuned in a scale and carved and painted on both sides to resemble fruits on a vine, as well as primitively rendered faces.
 

Ancient Chinese Carved Wood Lohan 8 x 5.5 x 12.5" Authentic, 200 to 300+ year old Lohan Statue. Carved from a single piece of wood. Seated in the traditional lotus pose, this Lohan leans very slightly to the left-- a subtle detail incorporated by the artist that adds dynamism to the form and makes him unique. Remnants of a government export seal on the back. Excellent as collected condition.
 

Rare Antique Chinese Hornbill Carving 9.5" x 5.5" Late 19th Century, early 20th. Rarely seen on the market anymore, a world class, large & well carved Chinese Hornbill. Purchased in Hong Kong in the 1950's, Fresh from an the original collection, & never before offered. This one, with glass eyes & applied feathers, looks ready to fly. A fine & intricate, seven tiered battle scene is carved on it's forehead. This is an old piece & predates any restrictions. Truly one of the finest hornbills in the world today.
