14x4.5x3.5" Very rare, hand sculpted ceramic blackamoor candlestix. 50's vintage & in amazing original condition. One small glaze chip on her rear cape. Dual signed, both by what looks like S.H. Bandini, & the Zaccagnini cipher. Zaccagnini's work was noticed by Walt Disney & he was contracted under license to manufacturer Disney characters, perhaps as early as the 40's. Some reaching thousands of dollars today. These are pure sculpted art. |
