18x6" Bigi Torino Lenci art male temple dancer. This large peice is the creation of a former Lenci artist. He stands, legs slightly bent at the knee, hands palm-outward at his hips, as if in the midst of a movement. He wears an intricately patterned yellow skirt, with floor-reaching white fabric at the waist. He is adorned with jewelry, from his simple bracelets to his complex earrings. His outfit is crowned by a fantastic headdress, in green, brown, cream and gold. An extoic piece all around. Signed 'BIGI TORINO Made in Italy' as well as numbered 'n.1924-815' Excellent condition. |
