24x8(base)" Austrian Goldscheider Diana with borzoi. This towering piece depicts beautiful, strong Diana, the Huntress taking aim with her faithful borzoi as companion. The piece dates to about 1912. She wears a simple pale pink shift, and has a yellow quiver of arrows slung over her shoulder. Her bow is missing. Signed 'Latour,' and numbered '4164-224-8' and stamped with the Golscheider seal, and has the Roman numerals 'XIV DI.' Excellent condition. |
