9 x 11 x 14.5" Italian Figurine, called "Indonesia," of a woman, seated on a pillow, playing a guitar-like instrument. Facial features are hand-painted in extremely fine detail, giving her a hypnotic gaze as though lost in her music.
Signed "Le Bertetti, Torino made in Italy. 'Indonesia' N.220 7" on the bottom. Celia LeBertetti was atistic director for the Lenci factory.
Some minor foot chipping repairs. |
