JarvieQuezal

Jarvie & Quezal Arts & Crafts Lamp Stunning Arts & Crafts period lamp: signed Quezal shade on original, signed Jarvie candlelamp base. Jarvie, a preeminent Arts & Crafts period metalworker, contemporary of Van Erp and Roycroft, advertised himself as the "Candlestick Maker." This lamp represents an effort joining his bronze work with noted glassmaker Quezal. The lamp stands almost 18 1/2 inches in height; shade is exquisite, iridescent gold; mint condition with no chips or cracks but included are photos of two pulled bubbles "from the making" which are original to the shade.

PittsburghMoonscape

Pittsburgh Painted 16 inch Lamp Pittsburgh Lamp, Glass and Brass Company table lamp. The 16 inch (15 7/8") diameter shade is reverse and obverse painted scene of rising moon, reflecting in green rippling water below blue sky with white clouds. The colors are magnificent with great clarity. The moon, sky, and water are painted on the interior with the tall trees, which border the lake scene, being painted on the exterior. The base is same as shown on page 121 of "American Lighting" by Nadja Maril. It has an excellent dark bronze finish (restored?) and original felt bottom; one of bell pulls is missing. Lamp stands almost 22 inches in height. The shade is in superb condition with no chips or cracks.
