Handel 18 inch dome shaped shade in "sand finished" glass. The shade is revese painted with an all-around pattern of daffodils having mauve highlights and small flowers with crimson highlights and turquoise leaves on a background of black and dark green stylized foliage and a lovely, pale green sky. The shade is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The base is an urn shape in brown patina with "Handel" signed in script on the bottom side and stands almost 24 inches in height. The shade is signed "Handel 7122" with artist initials as shown in photo below. This is a remarkably intense and exquisite Handel lamp.
