Major piece of Pallme-Konig threaded glass: 8.5 inch tall, 9 inches wide, iridescent deep purple/red vase with rolled rim. Pallme-Konig, perhaps the most significant Bohemian glassmaker, is often mistaken for Loetz glass, and was in fact a competitor of Loetz. All were in production at time of Tiffany glass in America. This huge centerpiece vase is in superb, excellent condition; all threading original and appears totally intact. Very large certerpiece worthy of any fine collection. Large pontil on bottom. See "Bohemian Glass" by Truitt, page 103, for similar pieces.
