The Artist was born in Valencia, Spain around 1910 and grew up in Barcelona. Started work at the age of 12 and soon his Fame as a Painter and Illustrator spread throughout Spain. He went to Paris during the Spanish Civil War where he became a member of the very important Salle d'Automne as a Painter. As an Illustrator his work was sought after by the Top Cosmetic and Fashion Firms. In 1946 Fernando was brought to America by the prestigious magazine Harper's Bazaar. In the 50's Mr BOSC had a finger in the fashion world as a top notch Designer and was known as the American answer to Balanciaga. While making a success of Fashion, he did not neglect his painting. While living in New York his work was exhibited in some of the best Galleries in the City. In the early 70's he retired from fashion. FERNANDO BOSC moved to Key West, Florida and lived there until his Death in the Mid 80's. Now 20 years later these works have found their way to the public eye once more. Enjoy them.
