Manufacturer: HOWARD PIERCE PORCELEIN
Ostrich pair, or maybe geese. These birds have really long necks. 11" high and 8-1/2" high. Gray and black markings. The finish is smooth, but not as high a gloss as some of my other pieces. The large bird is marked Howard Pierce Porcelain. This mark was used in the 50's. Ref: California Pottery Second Edition by Jack Chipman, pg.211.
