Vintage Wooden Folk Art DollWith Original Clothes Size: 9½ T x 2½ W Age: Thought to be early 20th Century Condition: Very good for its age Head and body made out of one piece of wood. Arms and legs carved and strung with copper wires. Head, legs and hands are hand-carved and hand-painted. Clothes consist of dress, which is worn. There is a small hole in the center of the front of dress. She is a real sweetheart. Weight: 4½ Oz. Found in New York State.

FOLK ART WOODEN TUG BOAT - VINTAGE. This is a unique find from rural Montana. I am unsure of what this piece was made for (toy or model) but its age is vintage. It looks like American Folk Art and I would guess it is from the mid 20th Century. Size: 8 Inches L x 6-3/4 Inches T x 3 Inches D. Condition: Good overall. There is one very small chip on the bottom of the Smoke Stack. The patina is wonderful. Weight: 1+ lbs.

Vintage Wooden Folk Art Carved Standing Man This pine carving is actually made of 5 separate pieces of wood. Two arms, head, body & platform
The arms are held by either wooden plugs or nails. The oxidation left behind by what were 9 small nails used to simulate coat buttons.
Very nicely detailed and the face is very well done.
Condition: Is very good. The left arm is slightly moveable - if by design or not it is stable.
Size: Man - 9 Inches H x 2 Inches W x 2 Inches D. The platform is 2-3/4 Inches W x 1-6/8 Inches D x 3/4 Inches H.
Weight: 4 oz.

Vintage Folk Art Figures - Male & Female Age: Probably from the 1930's.
Size: Male & Female are approx. 6-1/4 Inches T.
Female has pigments of blue, white, black & pink.
The male has pigments of black, green, red & blue.
Condition: They are in good condition.
Condition issues: A cropped left foot on the male & some pigment either missing or never was on the left trouser leg where the crease of the trousers would be.
There is maybe some evidence of a professional repair to the woman's neck. I am not sure.
They are a delightful pair. He is certainly a jaunty one.
Material: They are carved from a light wood. Probably Pine.
Weight: approx. 2 ounces.

Folk Art Colonial Style Wooden Soldiers Size: Male: 10 Inches T x 2-1/2 Inches W x 1-5/8 Inches D
Female: 8-5/8 Inches T x 2-1/4 Inches W x 1-7/8 Inches D.
Condition: Very Good - The bottom of each piece is slightly off kilter
and although they are free standing they tend to list.
Marks: a.c. is marked on the bottom of each piece.
Found in Western Montana.

VINTAGE HAND-CARVED WOODEN FEMALE FIGURE - Folk Art. Size: 9 Inches Tall with stand x 4 Inches Wide (spread hands) x 2 Inches Deep. The Stand (which is part of the carving) is 3-1/4 Inches Wide x 2 Inches Deep. Condition: Very Good. There are several age cracks in the stand, which is shown in the photo. This does not weaken the sculpture and is natural in a piece with some age to it. Age: My best guess is early to mid 20th Century. Origin: This was purchased from an Estate Sale in Iowa in the 80's. The piece is not signed. There are some marks on the bottom of the piece, which I can't make out. A very charming piece of folk art.

CARVED WOODEN FOLK ART FACE - WEATHERED A very interesting carving of a face with a strong look. He is very weathered and is fairly old - probably 1940's or earlier. Found in New York State. Size: 15 Inches Tall x 5 Inches Wide. Condition: Good with age splits due to the extensive weathering. The face is in very stable condition. Weight is a bit less than 3 lbs.
