Gilded Architectural Decorative Female Head. Circa 1820 - Empire. Size: 9-1/2 Inches Tall x 4 Inches Wide. She appears to be made of wood with a gilded coating. The condition is good considering the age. There is flaking on the mount, which is visable in the photo.

Condition: In good displayable condition

Markings: None

Material: All metal surfaces respond to a magnet. The figures are probably a brass finish over a metal that also responds to a magnet.

Weight: approx. 1¼ lbs.

Origin: Found at an estate sale of the contents from a 19th century mansion in Western Montana.

A very unique and handsome piece.

Metal Asian Indian Mermaid With Beaded Accents

Metal Asian Indian Mermaid style female with beaded accents. This piece is in the form of a handle or door pull. The metal has a brass finish. The beads are of a turquoise and coral color.
Age: An older piece. Condition: Good.. Weight: Approx. 1 lb.
Size: Approx. 9 Inches H x 3 Inches W x 1 Inch D. The metal attachments are 1 Inch L.
This has a nice patina. I have several more of these in my collection. Some have different colored beads and some are missing some beads.
Please note that this piece is in found condition. We let you do the cleaning & polishing the way you like it.

Colonial India Metal Architectural Piece

Condition: Good worn condition

Metal: Probably Spelter w/bronze or brass finish on face The eyes are a faceted green glass?

Weight: 2 lbs. 1 oz.

Markings: None

This is a wonderful and expressive piece. The top of the head has a hinged lid. The head is a hollow cavity. There is a small hole on the bottom which appears to have been part of an architectural rod? Please note that the piece is not free standing. It would
need a stand to display. We do not have a stand for this.

Found at the famous NYC Pier Show in the 1980's from a dealer in European and Asian Arts.

NEPAL TEMPLE DRAGON/LION? HEAD BRASS? CANDLE-HOLDER - Size 7-3/4 Inches Tall x 6-1/4 Inches Wide. Condition: Good. Please Note that although I feel this is mostly if not all brass it has a silver color metal on the back. This candleholder has been well used. It is stained by years of candlesmoke. It was brought back from Napel by a dealer in Asian Arts. If you are interested in a pair, I also have the twin available.The twin's background is approx. 1 inch shorter in height.

WOODEN ARCHITECTURAL MYTHICAL FACE - Size: 8 Inches Tall x 7 Inches Wide x 2 Inches Deep. Age: 19th Century. Condtion: Very Good. This is a very handsome piece. It is from an Estate Sale and comes from a mansion on Long Island, New York. There is a good weight to it and it is very solid. Please note that the color is a deep solid brown, the redish streaks are from the camera flash.

HAND CARVED FIGURAL BAKER'S PADDLE - Size: 48 Inches from Head to the Bottom of the Paddle. Age: My best guess is the early part of the 20th Century. Condition: Good to Very Good. The Old Fashioned Carved Male's Head is accentuated on the back of the carved hair by worm holes. The Paddle is carved with designed holes and engraved design between the holes. This piece has a good weight to it. There is a hook on the back of the head to hang it by. A really wonderful piece. Very Very Unique and Handsome.
