North Coast Haida Or Tlingit Plaque - Signed and Dated

Two dimensional design called 'flat design' are characteristic of Northwest Coast Art. A kind of bas-relief. Many features are shared by the Haida and their mainland neighbors, the Tlingit. This Plaque is a very strong design and is signed on the back: David M. Aquino, dated 10-1-96.

Condition: Very Good

Material: Wood and paint. I believe it is probably pine driftwood. There is a wire on the back for hanging.

These figures are solid and probably carved from Pine Very nicely done.
They make a great presentation.

Size: 7 Inches Tall x 3 Inches Wide.

Condition: Good. There is a repair on the back.

Age: Unknown , My best guess is Mid 20th Century.

Materials: Cloth, Yarn and some type of filler. Description: Facial features I believe are Photographic. Body made of a heavier type material, hair is made of yarn. The filling feels like a soft type of material with a gritty substance in the lower portion for stability. A very appealing doll.
