Condition: very good - Closure is a c shape split catch on one side of the clasp with a metal strip that when pressed can slide the opposing chain into the C shape. The catch is a little stiff to use.

Markings: On oval 24K /back (clip) of fan Japan
Weight: very light about ¼ of an oz. both pieces
Condition: good - front very good back some discoloration probably from manufacturing.
I have been told that these are called Niello. Neillo was a technique used in jewelery making and is quite labor intensive.
These cuff-links are done in silver and gold on a matt black background and edged in yellow gold
