Vintage Full Figure Soldiers In Period Dress - Cast Iron
These were originally made as figural andirons. Somewhere along the way the log holder fire dogs were disconnected and lost. Up for sale are the cast iron soldiers.
There is still paint visible. Red around top of the boots and tie, white on jacket edges, blue on the jacket, white boots and uniform. A lot of detail present including epaulets. There are slots in the back of the figures that the actual log rest fitted into.
Size: 16 H x 8 W at the widest part x 2 D
Condition: Good for age and use. Signs of smoke on front and back. one still has a bolt screwed in the back side.
Weight: 30 lbs.
