Vintage Mother Tin
Advertising Artstyle ChocolatesThis very attractive and unusual tin has a top that is also a framed pictures that can be hung.
The picture and poem "With Love to Mother" is made of paper.
The rest of the tin is of metal.
Condition: Good for its age.
Condition issues: There are two small holes in the paper.
One is above the potted plant
The other is on the lower right hand side.
The paper picture has a slight ripple effect, it is very secure in its frame.
Size: 9-1/4 Inches L x 2-1/2 Inches H x 5-1/2 Inches D

VINTAGE DROSTE HAARLEM HOLLAND CANDY TIN - Mid 20th Century or Earlier. Size: 7-1/4 Inches Wide x 4-1/2 Inches Tall x 3 Inches Deep. Condition Good. There are rust spots inside container and inside the lid. Top of lid has slight grooves on lid when held to the light. I believe these were on the lid before decoration, as the litho is not the least bit distrubed. This is not noticeable unless held so the light emphasises it. There are a few very minor scratches on the body of the tin. Not noticable unless looked for. All in all in good condition for its age. The candy contents are on the label at bottom of the lid. The tin displays varied views of life in Holland of past times. Rich blue and white colors. At first look the tin appears to me to be a Delft Ceramic. The tin is empty of contents.
