Vintage Mother Tin - Advertising Artstyle Chocolates

This very attractive and unusual tin has a top that is also a framed pictures that can be hung. The picture and poem :With Love to Mother - is made of paper. The rest of the tin is of metal.

Condition: Good for its age. Condition issues: There are two small holes in the paper. One is above the potted plant. The other is on the lower right hand side. The paper picture has a slight ripple effect, it is very secure in its frame.

Vintage Droste Haarlem Holland Candy Tin

Age:Mid 20th Century or Earlier.

Size: 7¼ W x 4½ H x 3 D

Condition: Good - There are rust spots inside container and inside the lid. Top of lid has slight grooves on lid when held to the light. I believe these were on the lid before decoration, as the litho is not the least bit disturbed. This is not noticeable unless held so the light emphasis's it. There are a few very minor scratches on the body of the tin. Not noticeable unless looked for. All in all in good condition for its age.

The candy contents are on the label at bottom of the lid. The tin displays varied views of life in Holland of past times. Rich blue and white colors. At first look the tin appears to me to be a Delft Ceramic.

Vintage Advertising Tin Container - Period Art Couple With Coach and Driver

Helen Harrison's Home Made Candies

Size: 2 H x 9 W x 6 ½ D

Condition: Fair - The lid is scratched in many places. With the almost impressionist picture on the lid the scratches on the whole seem to blend in. There is a major scratch down the middle of the lady's gown and one to the right side of the shrub plus many
smaller scratches distributed across the lid. The inside and bottom of the tin shows smudges of grey under the silver finish. There is a shallow dent at the bottom of the picture lid and on the underside.

The tin is hinged and in stable condition.
