Unusual Gold Toned Brooch
This is a very handsome piece, which has some weight to it. Approx. 3 oz.
The bar portion of the pin is: 2 Inches L and has a black cabochon glass stone.
Condition: The pin has a safety clasp. For some reason this is attached in the middle of the pin portion and swivels somewhat. The attachment is secure.
From the bar of the pin there are 5 dangling attachments. The longest which is about 2-1/2 Inches and is in the center. It is a golden colored tassel. On either side is a coiled snake and what looks like a finial. There are no markings on the pin.

The pearls are either cultured or imitation. My best guess is that the metal is gold toned pot metal. The back has a safety clasp.

A really handsome piece.

Vintage Châtelaine Style Brooch - With Turquoise
Size: 4 L x 1½ W
Condition: Very good. Condition Issue: The bottom turquoise stone has been set loosely in the setting. It is secure but does move up and down if pushed.
Material: I am not sure if this is made out of silver or pot-metal. The metal is antiqued. It does not polish up.
Please note: that the finish of the metal is not as bright as in the photo. The light has increased its shine. It is a dull silver finish.
Markings: none
Weight: 2½ Oz.
Found at an Estate sale in Montana.
