Carved Wooden Parrot With Inset Eyes

Size: 14-1/2 Inches Tall with Stand x 15 Inches Wide end of tail to top of head crest.

Beautifully made. The wood has a polished feeling and the eyes and beak are made of either bone or stone. The grain and shading of the wood is darker on one side with shades of grey on the other mixed in with the darker colored wood. The Parrot stands on a trunk of a tree? and the trunk is about 6 Inches Tall (this is included in the total size of 14-1/2 Inches and is part of the dark wood and is of one piece with the parrot. The additional part of the piece is a separate piece of lighter wood which is the true stand and that is 3/4 of an inch, which also is included in the 14-1/2 Inches.

Markings: The bottom piece has inscribed in capital letters INDIA. This is not really visible unless you really look for it or it is in the right light.

Condition: Very Good. There is a slight splintering of the wood on the bottom front just above the stand. This does not in any way change the integrity of the piece.

Brass Welsh Figural Souvenir - In Period Dress

A woman sits on her stool as she uses her spinning wheel. The background is of a thatched hut. The figure is set in front of the hut by two metal rods, which attaches the figure in a three dimensional manner to the hut.

Markings: Reg NO 905080 is stamped both on the back of the roof of the hut & back of the spinning wheel.

A good weight to this piece. A silver-toned non-magnetic metal. A very kind viewer has informed me TINN is the Norwegian word for Pewter. The dark shading in the photo is a reflection from the background. The piece is a bright silver tone.

Glass Paperweight Souvenir With Top Hat and Cane

Size: 4 Inches Across. 12 Inches Circumference.

Condition: Very Good. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. The tophat has a few small scratches on the brim of the design.

Age: 1997. There is a design of a top hat with cane and roses in the center. Magic Monents 1994 - 1997 around the outer rim both on the top and bottom. The design is on the bottom of the paperweight. It is not coated and needs to be used in a gentle manner so as not to be scratched.
