Vintage Wooden Folk Art DollWith Original Clothes Size: 9½ T x 2½ W Age: Thought to be early 20th Century Condition: Very good for its age Head and body made out of one piece of wood. Arms and legs carved and strung with copper wires. Head, legs and hands are hand-carved and hand-painted. Clothes consist of dress, which is worn. There is a small hole in the center of the front of dress. She is a real sweetheart. Weight: 4½ Oz. Found in New York State.

WOOD/BUTTON WESTERN COUPLE - DOLLS Size: Approx. 6-1/2 Inches T. Condition: Very Good. Cowboy with his Lady. The dolls are made of wood (the body of a wooden spool). The arms & legs with a mixture of different colored buttons held together with plastic thread. The faces are painted. His hair is also painted, her hair from a curly material. Both are dressed in fabric. He has chaps, neckerchief, cowboy hat & holds a lasso. She is in a dress and wide-brimmed hat decorated with faux flowers. Not for play - but for decoration or a collection. Very Cute! Made by a local Montana Artist.

The pair of legs has two joints the upper joints are not painted. The lower joints have been painted white at the upper end and are brownish for the rest. The additional leg has one joint and the foot is colored black. Condition: Good to very good.

Native American Wood DollRed Star by Sitting Pretty Chippewa-Cree Tribe Size: 6 H x 3 W x 1¼ D Weight: 3 Oz. ca 1910 Condition: Very good considering its age A very nicely carved wooden male figure dressed in traditional clothing. The hair is made of black thread with a band of leather and fur. Eyes: small nails The red top feels and looks like cotton. The black leggings are a felt like material. There is a vest of white and blue beads. A necklace of blue & white beads with a leather medallion with a red bead accent. The moccasins are also a felt like material. Comes with an old tag from years gone by. I acquired this piece in 2001 from a dealer of fine Indian artifacts from New Mexico.

Vintage Wooden Folk Art Carved Standing Man This pine carving is actually made of 5 separate pieces of wood. Two arms, head, body & platform
The arms are held by either wooden plugs or nails. The oxidation left behind by what were 9 small nails used to simulate coat buttons.
Very nicely detailed and the face is very well done.
Condition: Is very good. The left arm is slightly moveable - if by design or not it is stable.
Size: Man - 9 Inches H x 2 Inches W x 2 Inches D. The platform is 2-3/4 Inches W x 1-6/8 Inches D x 3/4 Inches H.
Weight: 4 oz.
