Scotsman's Figural Decanter

Size: 10-1/2 Inches Tall x 3-1/2 Inches Wide x 2-1/4 Inches Deep.

Age: 1950's

Condition: Good to Very Good. Three small flakes on the band of his hat. Crazing consistent with age.

Markings: No marking of maker. Several numbers incised on the bottom.

Weight: 1 lb.

His characterization is just marvelous.

Vintage Flask/Bottle For Liquor Saloon/Bar Give A Way - Toasting CanCan Girl

Size: 8½ x 2½ in diameter

Markings: On Bottom of flask a paper label stating: When Empty Take Me Back to the CLUB SALOON Hoquiam,Wash. and have me filled with Old Homestead Whiskey

Both this container and the other one listed were found at an antique store in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It is thought to have come from the same place.

Condition: Good - Some wear of paint consistent with age. No chips or cracks. It looks like the original cork stopper also with wear due to age. Please note that there are spots of white showing through on the base of the container. Part of the cork is worn away, as shown in the photo.

Ezra Brooks Decanter - Bucket of Blood - Dead Wagon - Virgina City - 1970

Size: 8 Inches Tall x 9 Inches Long x 3 Inches Wide.

Marked on bottom in the ceramic: Heritage China 1970 R.H. 12 Ezra Brooks.

Weight: 2 lbs. 14 Oz's.

Condition: Very Good

Wonderfully macabre.  

Spanish Lady Decanter

A lovely Lady carrying a bucket on top of her head. I assume it is a wine bucket? She is garbed in a flowing black gown with a necklace of a cross adorning her neck. She is also wearing what appears to be a black head covering. Her facial features are very attractive.

Size:10-1/2 Inches Tall x 3-1/2 Inches Wide x 3 Inches Deep.

Bottom is marked: BASTIA MATTEI ET Co .

Condition: Very good/ no chips, cracks or crazing. The cork surrounding the cap of the decanter has broken away to some extent. I have shown this in one of the photos. The bucket scrapes against the top of her head when it is removed. But I can see no damage.

Green Glass Figural Decanter From Italy

Wonderful detail in this figural decanter made in Italy. This lovely lady is dressed in Victorian Period Style.

Glass is in very good condition. There are a few minor rough spots on the bottom edge of the skirt. Otherwise I see no chips, cracks or flea bites.

Size: 11½ tall x 6½ across at widest point.

The green is a dark shade. I have shown it in a lighter shade so that the features would show up. The darker photo showing the head with plastic cork is the truer shade.

Weight: 2¾ lbs.

Markings: MADE IN ITALY on the bottom.  

Western Old Time Banker Decanter - Great Falls, Montana

Size: 12-1/2 Inches Tall (cork somewhat extended) x 6 Inches W x 3-1/8 Inches D.

Age: 1972

Condition: Very Good - I see no chips, cracks or repairs. The cork has a very tight fit and should be left extended as shown in the photo.

The front of the safe - has printed: FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF GREAT FALLS. The back of the safe is a letter: To A Friend This unique commemorative Bankers Bottle created and crafted expressively for the First National Bank of Great Falls by the National Heritage Corporation is presented as a special gift in celebration of our grand opening, February 1972. Hobnail Clear Glass Decanter

Size: 9-1/2 Inches T x 3-1/2 Inches W x 3-1/2 Inches D.

Condition: Very Good - no chips, cracks or repairs. The cork is a an opaque plastic.

The decanter is square in shape with hopnail designs and a neck that is round in shape. The lip of the decanter is slightly fluted. The top and bottom of the decanter and stopper are clear glass with no hobnails.  

Old Hickory Figural Decanter

Size: 11-1/4 Inches Tall.

Condition: Very Good - there is a small dimple in the decanter on the back. I think this is a factory flaw. It is shown in one of the photos.

Weight: 1 lb.8 Oz's.

The figure depicts a 19th Century gentleman wearing a white cape over a uniforn and knee high boots. The finish of the decanter is a crackle finish - this is a decorative effect in which the glazed finish is covered with fine cracks. The finish is smooth. Incised on the bottom of the decanter is Old Hickory Distilling Corporation 55.

Almaden Pony Set With Stand

Stand Measures: Approx. 9 Inches T x 6-1/2 Inches Across Base. Each of the bottles Stand 6 Inches Tall.

Please note that the bottles are empty of contents.

The stand is a wooden holder with carrying handle, sitting upon a wooden base. The stand comes complete with 4 attractive empty wine bottles with gold colored screw caps. The bottles are embossed on one side with ALMADEN, underneath two men striding and holding a bar with grapes? below them is the word PONY.

Condition: Normal wear from age/use. There are no chips, cracks or flea bites in the glass.

Weight: total - 2 lbs. 9 Oz's.  

Delta Saloon -Virginia City, Nevada Decanter

At this historic saloon you will find an old Faro table that was nicknamed ;The Famous Suicide; because two consecutive players lost everything they owned and then committed suicide.

Condition - very good - condition issue - cap or top of decanter is missing.

Musical Pottery Decanter - Elaborate Design

Size: 7½ H x 4 W x 4 D

Condition: Very good - there are no cracks. The pottery top has what looks like a flaw in the blue color the size of 1/8 x 1/4 inch (see photo) There is crazing, which indicates age. The surface is smooth except for the flaw. The cork is in great condition.

Markings: There is a blue and white paper label on the bottom that says..Japan

Age: Thought to be mid 1950's

Raised design in relief. Deep cobalt blue and off white w/accents of color gold. Four musketeers framed in cobalt blue and trimmed with color gold


 

Vintage Altenkunstadt Bavarian Porcelain Decanter

Size: 7½ H x 2½ in diameter

Condition: very good. No chips, cracks or flea bites. Full cork stopper
with a wee bit flaked out at one side of the bottom cork.

Condition: very good - screw on cap

Beams Choice Liquor Bottle - Charles I

Size: 8-3/4 Inches T with cap x 5-1/2 Inches W.

Condition: Good. There are small paint chips off several of the raised design & several that have tiny black marks showing through the underlaying white surface. The back upper rim of the bottle has a small paint chip with the black mark showing through - about 1/4 inch in length. This bottle has a striking picture of Charles I with horse & courier. I believe this is a print that has been put directly on the bottle. It is not a paper label but a reproduction of an original painting by Van Dyck. A scroll type design is on the back of the bottle with a picture of the head of Van Dyck - Dates of Birth & Death & a short Biography. The painting is in Very Good condition. The bottle has a textured look with a raised design bordering the picture. The bottle has the remaining of the tax stamps running from the screw on plastic cap and small remaining pieces on the back of the bottle.

The bottom of the bottle has LIQUOR BOTTLE AND SOME NUMBERS in raised lettering. Beam Bottles were made to hold Kentucky Straight Bourbon, made by the James B. Beam Distilling Co. The Beam series of ceramic bottles began in 1953.
