There are 2 pressed bottle lines on the sides of the bottle. There is a daisy-star design on the bottom. This is a great display piece.

Vintage Blue Glass Vase

Size: 12 Inches Tall x 4 Inches Wide.

Age: Mid-20th Century

Condition: Good. There is a chip and a flea bite on the lip.

This is a wonderful piece with great texture with the design and shape. The color is rich. There is a very good weight to this - approx. 3 lbs.  

Hexagon Green Pressed Glass Bowl - With Eagle and Star Design

Size: 2-1/2 Inches High x 15 Inch Circumference.

Weight: 13 Oz's.

The glass inside the panels is textured around the designs. There are two small marks on the bottom of the bowel. If they are scratches I believe they were made at the time of manufacture and in no way weaken the glass.  

Round Rich Green Pressed Glass Vase - Very Detailed

Size: 3-3/4 Inches H x 6-1/4 Inches in Circumference. Narrow neck is ¾ inch.

Condition: Very Good - There are no chips or cracks.

Weight: 5 Oz's.

The bottom has a daisy pattern. The color and detail in this vase are very attractive.

Green Glass Figural Decanter From Italy

Wonderful detail in this figural decanter made in Italy. This lovely lady is dressed in Victorian Period Style.

Glass is in very good condition. There are a few minor rough spots on the bottom edge of the skirt. Otherwise I see no chips, cracks or flea bites.

Size: 11½ tall x 6½ across at widest point.

The green is a dark shade. I have shown it in a lighter shade so that the features would show up. The darker photo showing the head with plastic cork is the truer shade.

Weight: 2¾ lbs.

Markings: MADE IN ITALY on the bottom.  

White Glass Victorian Style Design Jar

Size: 4-3/4 Inches H.

Condition: Very Good. No chips, cracks or flea bites.

Weight: 8 Oz's.

Age: 20th Century

The lid is I believe tin with a wood grain.
This very attractive Jar has delightful scenes of a Victorian Time which is printed on the glass. There are no markings.  

Vintage Glass Fishing Float from Vancouver Island, Canada

Size: Small - 2 inches in diameter

Condition: very good

Weight: 2 Ozs.

Markings: None - there is a pontil which shows it was handblown. The pontil mark is a circular depression on the bottom. It is made when the pontil rod is transferred from the blowpipe for final shaping and finishing.

This is one of the floats that the Islanders from Vancouver Island
collect. They come over via floating in the ocean from Asia and are collected by the Islanders as they come in on the tide. This is a real one - not one that they import to sell to tourists. I collected this one myself in the 1970's.

Glass fishing floats were once used by fishermen in many parts of the
world to keep the nets afloat. Large groups of nets were strung together
and were set adrift in the ocean. They were supported near the surface by
handblown hollow glass balls. You can tell the real ones by the pontel left
when handblowing them.

When the floats are broken away by storms or certain tidal conditions they
can be afloat for over 10 years, before they come ashore on Canada's west
coast. They are prized finds for beachcombers.

 

Hobnail Clear Glass Decanter

Size: 9-1/2 Inches T x 3-1/2 Inches W x 3-1/2 Inches D.

Condition: Very Good - no chips, cracks or repairs. The cork is a an opaque plastic.

Weight:2 lbs. 2 Oz's

The decanter is square in shape with hopnail designs and a neck that is round in shape. The lip of the decanter is slightly fluted. The top and bottom of the decanter and stopper are clear glass with no hobnails.

I am not sure if this bottle was a container for perfume or cologne. Either way he is a sweetheart!

Size: Approx. 3-1/2 inches H x 1-1/2 inches W at the shoulders.

Material: clear glass body & plastic cap which is the top hat.

Condition: Very Good No chips or cracks. Condition: Issues: the black paint has worn off his feet and whatever he is carrying in his left hand. Possibly elsewhere, but this is all I can see. There is a slight residue at the toe of his left foot of the perfume or cologne.

Age: 20th Century

Weight: 2 Oz's.

This was obtained at an Estate sale in Western Montana.
