| vfenton1924 | This incredible, footed bowl is so beautiful it is difficult to describe. Measuring 8 inches across and 2 1/2 inches deep, the color graduates from a deep red into a swirling fire of blended orage and red. To display it even more perfectly, it comes with its original black 3 footed base. Fenton, The First Twenty Five Years features this peice on page 71 as item 450. There is roughness to underside of the black stand that is not visible from the top. Very close examination of the bowl are some factory bubbles and a tiny hole from one of them and extremely minor wear. This looks almost new when you realize that it is from 1924. We have seen small pieces prices much higher. | |
| v1892ftn | On Sale... Fenton, Waterlily and Cattail, Blue Opalescent Bowl complete with Amethyst Stand. Believe to be circa 1908. 10". Unusual to find this large piece. Beautiful color and very good condition with a little of the opalescence running from the edge into the pattern in a couple of places. One pin size hole from a tiny glass bubble as expected on pieces made in early 1900's. The black stand fits well too and looks great with the bowl. Vintage. Was $124.95. Price reduced. |
