Minton is a quality addition to the Royal Doulton product line. Minton Teapots are a classic example of Royal Doulton's determination to keep that image alive. We will be happy to order any currently produced Minton product that we do not have in stock. Due to the high value of Minton products a 60%, non-refundable deposit is needed to process your order. Many of the Minton items are custom produced for you so please allow several months for delivery in those cases. Items that are currently stock are delivered immediately, of course. Established in 1793 at Stoke-on-Trent by Thomas Minton. Earliest pieces were not marked. After 1805 to 1816 some pieces were marked with crossed L's. Minton invented the acid gold process of decoration in 1863. In the 1830's and 40's an embossed scroll with an M on the bottom curve was used. After 1862 all wares were marked "Minton" or "Mintons" with the year impressed. Royal Doulton now features beautiful figures with true Minton tradition and quality.
