Antique cast iron garden bench or settee "Curtain" pattern, STAMPED IN CAST "Peter Timmes Son, Brooklyn, N.Y." and dated on the reverse "Pat. May 7, 1895".
Curtain design ,leafy S-curves and scrolls of the rococo style of the Renaissance Revival Period with A Moorish influence.
The Timmes foundry held the patent's for this settee and made cast iron gates, urns and garden furniture.Size is approximate :39 inches High. 43 inches long- 18 inches deep.
