I occasionally find one of these fine pins from the 1950s--costume jewelry exactly mimicking the 'real thing'--in this case, an Italian gold diamond and pearl lapel pin. It's very finely made from heavily gold plated base metal with marcasites and a genuine cultured pearl. This looks for all the world like a karat gold pin. Just 1.75" in diameter. Fine condition.

This enameled floral set from the 50s has not been worn, handled, or even LOOKED at...it's THAT MINT! The bracelet will fit a 7.5" wrist--it's an inch plus wide. The necklace has a hook adjustment, so it will fit you. Pink magnolias with yellow stamens, green leaves and an occasional rhinestone 'dewdrop'. Perfect with your pink Cadillac, 50s formal or fuzzy pink sweater. Price includes necklace, bracelet and clip earrings. Old and MINT!

KENNETH JAY LANE wannabees--wild tiger earrings and hinged clip bracelet. Painted stripes, pave faces and green shining eyes. These are in NEAR-MINT condition; I think they've never been worn. The tiger head earrings are just an inch tall.

I've gone blind trying to find that elusive MARCEL BOUCHER MB mark on this fabulous 1930s 'real look' brooch (would you believe this was a copy of the real thing...18K, diamonds and aquas?...this HUGE?). There is a place on one stem that could well be that MB beak. It's 4.5" by 2, has openset 'aquamarines' and pave and is plated in both yellow and white gold. There's wear on the highlights, but nothing abnormal. It's in EXCELLENT original condition.

This Art Deco chrome guy is puttin' on the ritz--he's wearing his top hat and MONDO bowtie and his 'other half' is a tophat and cane. I've seen this a couple of times in the last 30 years, but this is the only one I've had with its original very weird carved bead (vegetable ivory, dyed red) eyes and nose. He's 2.5" wide at the bow, and his cane is 2.25". He's in NEAR-MINT condition.

Sweater pin? Chatelaine pin?....whatever; you gotta love these loony Art Deco chickens. Body, neck, and head are openset, the tails and feet are flat-back stones. Set in silver/white gold-plated caca. Each is just over 2" long. From the 1920s, in great condition, and really FUN.

These figural golden apple furclips are just gorgeous! Each fat apple sports a pair of carved 'emerald' fruitsalad leaves and a 'ruby' cabachon pip at the bottom. The bigger apple is 1.75" square and the smaller is about 1.5". They gotta be Trifari or Coro but they are totally sans signature. ADORABLE and in excellent condition with some wear to the plating on the stem.

This figural Chinaman brooch is in all the early books, and I've seen him with all kinds of 'stuff' dangling from his pole. In this case there are 7 little beads in a glob (guaranteed original). He's cheaply cast, as this was a 'dime store' piece of the 1930s, with a simple C-clasp (no safety). Just wonderful condition with his original enamel. 3" high.

A classic 'gold' sheet butterfly pin from the forties, studded with multi-colored stones. These are usually goldplated sterling, but this one is NOT marked and so we'll call it gold fill. Nice condition with barely perceptible wear to BACK only. 2.75" across at widest point.

Did you ever wish that your Eisenberg Original furclip was a PIN? Well, so did a previous owner of this one--they removed the clip and coincidentally the SIGNATURE. All identification and marks are gone with the clip; all that's left is the stonesetter's mark, a single initial, to tell us it's by Eisenberg. THE GOOD NEWS--here's one you can afford to wear and enjoy--you won't have to put it in the bank vault with the diamonds! Measures 2.25" by 2" and weighs a ton.
