This gorgeous long strand of 'flapper-length' beads was probably assembled in the 60s, but the beads are all much older. There are 18 inch-long rose opaque Venetians encrusted with roses and blue daisies with applied aventurine glass trails, 5 black Venetians shaped like coolie hats with similar applied features, all interspersed with antique 'onyx' and clear cut beads and champagne faux pearls. It's a VERY RICH combination. The 52" necklace fastens with a C-clasp so it can be worn long, doubled, or as a triple-strand choker.
