| Unusual 'paste' bracelet dating from TRIFARI's Golden Age. I've scanned 3 views to give you some idea of the construction! We have the classic hinged back-opening bracelet in rigid square tubing, thickly rhodium plated, filled in with pear and round colorless rhinestones. A classic Trifari design in 'real-look' jewelry of the period. But perched on the top of the wrist is a humungous flower, 5 pear-shaped petals with a spire of baguettes in the center. The flower is 1.75" in diameter and juts off the wrist over a half inch. I can see a couple of very minor flaws with the 20 POWER LOUPE--minichips on one of the baguettes on the arm, and a place on the edge of the flower that looks like a stone was replaced (?) and old Duco slopped around it. Nothing you would ever see with the naked eye, but if you want it 100% mint it will need stone work. And sorry, gals, it's a SMALL SIZE--7.25" maximum wrist !!! Marked TRIFARI PAT PEND. at the center back and on the foldover clasp. |
