How did this survive the rigors of American life? I have never, in 30 years of dealing, seen another like it. The beads are of cloisonne in a wonderful blue color: thin, hollow, and pierced, looking for all the world like carved lapis lazuli. It's lost half of its clasp and has a couple of bruised beads which look like they could be improved enough to use. Knotted on its original cord, each bead is almost 3/4" in diameter; overall length is 17 inches. A wonderful find for an advanced collector. |
