Ink Well & Writing Tablet This ink Well, Writing Tablet and Stationary Holder was made to commenorate the 400 year anniversary of Columbus's voyage, 1492-1892. It is dated Mar 15, 1892. The wood is Oak and the Stationary Holder is Leather. The ink well has the original glass insert. It is in good condition, showing minor signs of wear from use.
