LODGE SWORD This is a beautiful LODGE SWORD. It was very hard to capture its beauty in a picture. I took several but still did not do it justise. This sword measures 33 1/2 inchs tall. I am going to start by discribing the handle and working my way down. the very top of the handle has an eagle on it. In the beek of the eagle he is holding a chain, this chain is atached to the bottom of the handle. The handle its self is done in black and gold. The blade is silver colored and is ingraved. with designs. on one side if the blade it reads GEO H AMEG on the other side it reads KNIGHTS GOLDEN EAGLE. The sheith is just a beautiful, At the top it has a red cross in the center there is another design. done in black, The bottom also has a design done in gold. This sword is a one of a kind. Due to the name that has been engraved on the sword. I just found more writting on the blade, when you look real close at the blade its not just a design there is writting and pictures of diffrent things. Lets start with the rest of the writting This is at the top of the blade by the handle working down toward the tip. PUK ADELPWA then under that HORST MANN Then under that there is a picture of a knight being crowned by an angle. The detail on this sword is amazing. The more i look at it the more i find. On the other side of the blade there is a symbol and in the symbol are the letters K. G. E. F.H.V. This sword makes a great collector item.
