CarltonWare lobster bowl
Old and large CarltonWare bowl which rest on three bright red lobster feet. The light green bowl, with its lettuce-like surface is in excellent condition and the underside of the bowl is marked: "CarltonWare, Made in England, Trade Mark".

Gustavsberg Argenta footed bowl (fish design)
Interesting bowl that is decorated with a detailed silver fish with bubbles and rim with a silver design. A thin silver line trims the foot. It is signed on base "Gustavsberg Argenta", with anchor mark, "#1094 III, Made in Sweden." Diameter is 6" and the foot, which is also trimmed with silver, is ~¼" in height. Excellent condition with silver trim intact. Please note:

Old Hummel "Signs of Spring" with good color, the full bee mark (TM2) and incised "203". See second picture for marks on base. Incised signature on side of the base: "M.J. Hummel(C) with a W inside a C". Condition is excellent. 5 1/8" (H).

Longwy charger "RENAISSANCE" design (Chevallier)
Extremely attractive, brightly enameled French art pottery charger in the Renaissance pattern, designed by M.P. Chevallier for Longwy. This unusual triangular shaped charger has holes for hanging, is well marked on its base, and has the typical turquoise crackled appearance on the underside of the rim (see photos). Each side is ~10½". This design was made only from 1951-1962.

Vintage HB Quimper octagonal plate
Attractive small octagonal shaped plate depicting a male Breton. The peasant is painted on a beige background and surrounded by a narrow brown band and then a green speckled band at the outer edge. Diameter is 4 inches, and both the color and condition are quite good. Signed "HB Quimper...1042" on its underside. Age is pre-1942.

Rim of plate is decorated with alternating floral designs and the outer edge has a narrow brown band that is bordered with a speckled green band. Attractive octagonal plate depicting a male Breton on a beige background. Rim of plate is decorated with alternating floral designs and the outer edge has a narrow brown band that is bordered with a speckled green band. This (pre-1942) piece is marked: "HB Quimper, RM/303" and its diameter is ~5½ inches. Has a couple minor stilt marks on its base that are missing glaze and were most likely made when the piece was produced. See matching plate (#H083) that depicts a female Breton.

Royal Stanley Ware (JACOBEAN) vase
Wonderful old Royal Stanley Ware vase (made by Colclough & Co), circa 1919 in England. This high glaze Arts and Crafts vase is very similar in appearance to Moorcroft pottery that was made at the same time. This vase is ~7" (H) and depicts apples and grapes on a rich blue background. This hand-painted fruit pattern encircles the vase. Base is well marked ["Royal Stanley Ware (RS mark), C&Co, Jacobean, England"].

Mettlach: Large cameo plaque (signed)
Large Mettlach cameo plaque depicting a classical scene of a woman and her eight attendants. This large plaque (or charger) has a blue/grey background and the scene depicted in white is done in rather high relief and with great detail. The plaque is in very good condition; there is a tiny sliver of the darker pottery missing to the left of the attendant on the far left. This is barely visible, not objectionable and mentioned only to be precise. Artist signed ("J Stahl") and numbered (#2443). Diameter: 18¼" Matching plaque (#2442) is also available (see below).

Mettlach: Large cameo plaque -Trojan warriors
Large Mettlach cameo plaque depicting a classical scene of trojan warriors on a ship. This large plaque (or charger) has a blue/grey background and the scene depicted in white is done in high relief and with great detail. The plaque is in good condition. The clouds depicted on the right appear to have been professionally restored and not noticed when purchased from a local estate! Artist signed ("J Stahl") and numbered (#2442). Diameter: 18".
