Royal Doulton Indian chief motto jug (tankard)
Most unusual Doulton Motto jug. One side depicts an indian chief in full attire and the other side says: "Never any deed of daring But himself had done a bolder", which is a quote from Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "The Song of Hiawatha". There is a 1 ½" band along the top outer edge with several teepees and clouds. The inner edge has a similar decoration. Has some overall crazing and is marked on the base with the Doulton lion over crown mark and Royal Doulton England. Height: ~5¾".

Royal Doulton seriesware motto pitcher
Large Doulton motto pitcher with a motto on one side and a well-clad English gentleman (cavalier)on the other. The motto: "Now I have a sheep and a cow, everyone bids me good-morrow". Note that the handle, base and inner and outer lip of the pitcher are highly decorated. The piece has fine overall crazing and has a typical Doulton mark with "Royal Doulton, England" and a lion over a crown. Height: 8"; Diameter at base: 5". Unusual and hard to find piece!

Wide mouth vase with a high gloss neck that is dark blue internally and dark green externally. Where the neck meets the body of the vase is a single row of beaded light blue flowers; the remainder of the vase, including its small foot,is decorated in highly textured gilded flowers. Incised with the Royal oulton/England lion over crown mark, the number "6623" and initials "EG" (for the artist). 4½ inches(H); 4½ inches(D).

Marked on back: "Doulton Lambeth England", impressed numbers 8825 and also impressed initials (WT). An unusual piece! Has a couple of small very minor depressions under the glaze, which must have been made at the factory prior to finishing. Not at all objectionable. Height: 5".

This long-handled ewer (or pitcher) is done in brown matt glaze and is decorated with an applied white, blue and darker brown floral design. The base is incised with the Doulton Silicon Lambeth mark and the initials "hh". Height of the ewer is 6" and with the handle extends to 7½".

Doulton Silicon Jardiniere
Lovely greyish-blue matt-glaze jardiniere decorated with several bands of different white applied reliefs (of birds and floral garlands), a single band of deep blue relief, and some incised design. 7" (H); 6½"(D). The base, which has a hole for water drainage, is incised with the Doulton Silicon Lambeth mark and the year 1884. A wonderful old piece of Doulton in excellent condition!

Royal Doulton MIDSUMMER NOON - HN1900 (1939)
"Midsummer Noon" is a RARE and hard to find, discontinued, EARLY Royal Doulton figurine. This figurine was designed by Leslie Harradine and made for only a short time (1939-1949). The lady in the blue dress (HN1900) is the hardest to find version of this piece and the registration number on its base (RdNo 834480) indicates this figurine was made in 1939, during the first year of its production.
