Flow Blue: HONG KONG plate
A large 14-sided paneled plate in the Hong Kong pattern, by Charles Meigh, circa 1845. Marked "Hong Kong" and also impressed with "Improved Stone China" on its underside. The color is strong and the condition is good on this hard to find very early pattern. Has some glaze missing (discoloration and roughness) on its edge. 10¼".

Flow Blue: IDRIS (THE OLYMPIC) round covered vegetable bowl
This gold-trimmed covered serving bowl has a blue clover design and on its underside has a blue Idris mark of W.H. Grindley, circa 1910. Has a minor small rough spot on the edge of the lid. Diameter (with side handles): 10¼"; height (to top of lid handle): ~4¼".
Several other pieces available in this gold-trimmed pattern (see listings below for THE OLYMPIC (IDRIS), including dinner plates, bowls, covered butter dish, cups and saucers. On some pieces, this pattern is indicated as Grindley’s "The Olympic" or "Idris" or has both names.

Flow Blue: ITALIA cup and saucer set
Scenic fow blue cup and saucer in the Italia pattern, made by W&E Corn in England, circa 1891. This design is similar to the earlier "Tivoli" pattern by Thomas Furival (see our item #M066). Marked on base of both pieces. Cup" 3¾" (Diam), 2¼" (H); saucer: ~6" (Diam). PLEASE NOTE: both pieces are in excellent condition. The light areas visible on the rim of the cup in the first picture are just reflections!

Flow Blue: IVANHOE plate (Wedgwood)
English flow blue (flo blue) dinner plate. This is part of the "Ivanhoe series" by Wedgwood (circa 1900). This plate depicts a black night and says: "The Black Knight Exchanges Buffets With Friar Tuck". It is impressed Wedgwood and circa 1901. Diameter:10¼". Note: We also have the same identical plate in polychrome; it is listed on TIAS under "Wedgwood" and is (#G088) in our inventory. It is also pictured here with the flow blue version! It is quite rare to find the same pattern in both the flow blue and polychrome!

Flow Blue: KAOLIN soup plate
Large 12-paneled flow blue soup in the Kaolin pattern, made by Podmore Walker & Co, circa 1834-1859. Condition is excellent, color is good and looks like it was never used! In addition to the blue mark, there is an impressed mark ("Stone Ware" PW & Co"). 10½".

Flow Blue: KYBER octagonal bowl and undertray
This large and extremely attractive Kyber bowl and undertray set was made in England by Wm. Adams, circa 1891. The footed bowl has a height of 4¾" and a diameter of 10". The octagonal undertray is ~14" in length (including handles) and ~10½" in width. This large footed bowl has no inner lip and was NOT made to have a lid. This extremely rare and hard to find set is in excellent condition!

Flow Blue: LA BELLE pitcher
Flow blue "LaBelle" pitcher made by Wheeling Pottery, circa 1893 and marked on its base "LaBelle China". Sprays of blue flowers decorate the body of this pitcher that has a rich blue neck with its edge trimmed in gold and embossed swirls underneath the neck. Quite attractive! Approximately 5" (H), 6¼"(spout to handle). Some crazing and gold is in excellent condition.

Slightly scalloped flow blue plate, with beading on its rim, in the Lancaster pattern. This plate was made in England by New Wharf Pottery, circa 1891. Has a couple of very minor miniscule nicks on the underside of the rim (not objectionable)that are barely visible from the back. 9".
