This plate is one of the "Ivanhoe series" plates by Wedgwood (circa 1900). It depicts a black night and says: "The Black Knight Exchanges Buffets With Friar Tuck". It is impressed Wedgwood and circa 1901. Diameter:10¼". It is most unusual to find both the polychrome and flow blue version of the same plate! See pictures below and also item #G104a.
