Two-volume limited edition folio of "Reaches of Heaven: A Story of Baal Shem Tov" by the 1978 Nobelist Isaac Bashevis Singer (1904-1991), printed on large (18 x 12"/page) Arches paper with 24 original pencil-signed and numbered etchings by Ira Moskowitz (1912-2001). This is Number 170 of 250 copies, each containing a suite of 24 etchings. The text was hand set in 18 point Bembo and printed in 1980 by letterpress at The Stinehour Press, Lunenburg, Vermont. The etchings were pulled at the Sorini Studios in New York. This copy was signed by both the author and artist on the back page (Picture #3). A real treasure! Only one of the etchings is depicted together with detail (Pictures 1 & 2).
