Charger (Japanese). Wonderful old (mid-to-late 19th century) cloisonné charger (large plate) depicting a bird and flowers, with the background showing some Chinese influence. The enameling is quite thick. The back of the plate has a scroll pattern that extends and covers the foot ring, but the center of the base is turquoise enamel. Charger is in excellent condition. 10½"(Diameter).
