Royal Doulton Gibson girl plate with a black transfer of an original Charles Gibson etching entitled:"A quiet dinner with Dr. Bottles: after which he reads aloud Miss Babbles latest work". Has the Royal Doulton blue underglaze mark and an impressed mark. Circa 1900. Diameter: 10 ½". These plates are hard to find, especially in such excellent condition.
