Attractive octagonal plate depicting a male Breton on a beige background. Rim of plate is decorated with alternating floral designs and the outer edge has a narrow brown band that is bordered with a speckled green band. This (pre-1942) piece is marked: "HB Quimper, RM/303" and its diameter is ~5½ inches. Has a couple minor stilt marks on its base that are missing glaze and were most likely made when the piece was produced. See matching plate (#H083) that depicts a female Breton.
