Beautiful and delicate crimped crocus art glass paperweight from the estate of Carl Kraft. This paperweight has 5+1 faceting and is signed: "Kraft ‘76" on its polished base. The crocus, done in shades of pink, rests on three green leaves. It displays a tripartite symmetry with its 3 stamens, 3 rows of inner petals and 3 rows of outer petals. Condition is excellent. Height:~2¼", Diam:~2¾" Carl Kraft is a little known glass artist, whose paperweights are limited, of very high quality and a real find for collectors!
