Exquisite Victorian sterling silver napkin ring that is clearly hallmarked for Sheffield 1873 (crown, lion, k). The maker's marks (RM EH) are found within a diamond to the left of the other marks. The condition of this English napkin ring is excellent and has no scratches; it has not been engraved and has substantial weight. Both the top and bottom edges are raised (appear beaded ?) and the engraving is extensive, very fine, and beautiful. As can be seen in the pictures, the engraving completely encircles the napkin ring. Diameter: 1 7/8"; Height: 1 1/8". A matching napking ring is also available.
