Manufacturer: Royal Copenhagen
Hand painted Royal Copenhagen cup and saucer in the exquisite "Flora Danica" pattern. The floral pattern encircles the entire cup and all the enamel is present. The cup has a wonderful vintage-shaped handle that also is decorated in a manner similar to the beaded decoration that encircles the cup. Both pieces are marked on their undersides; the Royal Copenhagen mark indicates it was made in 1950 and the name of the flower (Oscycoccus palustris Rupr) is written on the underside of the cup. These older "Flora Danica" pieces are hard to find especially in such mint condition. Cup: 2"(H); saucer: 5½"(diameter). |
