Doulton Lambeth stoneware motto jug that says: "Here's to thee My honest friend. Wishing these hard times to mend". Marked on back: "Doulton Lambeth England", impressed numbers 8825 and also impressed initials (WT). An unusual piece! Has a couple of small very minor depressions under the glaze, which must have been made at the factory prior to finishing. Not at all objectionable. Height: 5".
