This is a wonderful Art Nouveau Turn Teplitz box decorated by Ernst Wahliss, c. 1899-1918. The box is in two parts and is 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". The box is cobalt blue with gilt decoration. The lid has a beautiful hand-painted portrait of a lvoely lady with laurel leaves in her hair. Her skin is painted with the stippling technique.

This unusual Dresden stamp box was decorated by Wehsner, Richard, c. 1890s. The two part box has a ruffled foot, three slanted compartments for stamps, and measures 3 ¾" x 1 ¾" x 1 ¼". It is decorated with hand-painted blue flowers with molded gold swirls. It is in excellent condition.

This is part of a rare collection of 18th and 19th century boxes we just acquired from a collector in Pennsylvania. This exquisite French box was decorated by Bourdois & Bloch, c. 1890s. It is hinged and cartoched shaped. It measures 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/4". The box is a wonderful Sevres turquoise blue with raised gold belltype designs. The lid has a wonderful courting scene cartouche that is artist signed. The bottom of the box has three landscape cartouches. The inside is decorated with hand-painted flowers. Excellent condition. This is one of our best boxes!

This is an unusual Coalport star shaped box dating c. 1891-1920. It is in two parts and measures 3 1/4". The box has an underglaze cobalt blue leaf decoration with a gold border and rim. The center of the lid has a wonderful hand-painted star shaped medallion of a lake and castle scene. In the third photo it looks like a stain inside the box but that is just camera reflection. Excellent condition with minor crazing only visible with magnification. There is a rough spot on rim of lid on side that is not noticeable at all.

Coalport boxes are very rare, and this is the most beautiful one we've had. It dates c. 1891-1920 and measures almost 5". It is a rich cboalt blue with gilt scrolls and leaves. There is a beautiful hand-painted landscape scene framed by etched gold on the center of the lid. The box is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing.

This is part of a rare collection of 18th and 19th century boxes we just acquired from a collector in Pennsylvania. This 18th c. soft paste French box is unmarked. It is in two parts and measures 1 1/4"w x 1 1/2"h. The lid has hand-paitned flowers with gold trim. It is in very good condition with some crazing. One small flea bite is on bottom rim.

This lovely Dresden box was decorated by Donath & Co., c. 1890s. The round two part box is 5 1/4" wide. The border is yellow fishscale; handpainted flowers are on the sdie and all voer on the inside of bottom and top. A lovely courting scene decorated the lid. Excellent condition.

This gorgeous Royal Worcester box dates 1913. It is artist signed E. Phillips who was a famous fruit and flower painter for Royal Worcester. The two part box is 3" x 2 1/4". The box is decorated with hand-painted fruit and leaves. The lid has a lush red apple and leaves in relief. Excellent condition with light crazing.

This beautiful Dresden box was decorated by Wilhelm Koch, c. 1928-1949. If you collect Dresden, this would be interesting as Koch pieces are hard to find. The two part scalloped box is 5"l x 3 1/2"w x 1 3/4"h. It is decorated with hand-painted courting scenes alternating with flowers on yellow. There are strewn flowers inside the box. Excellent condition.

This is a wonderful Japanese Moriage portait box that we attribute ot Nippon. It is unmakred as are many moriage pieces. The box i in two parts and measures 6"l x 3 3/4"w x 2 3/4"h. The box is decorated all over with colorful moriage slip decoration. The lid has a portait overpainted transfer of the Duchesse du Monpensier. The bottom part has floral cartouches on each side. Excellent codnition. We can only find two tiny pieces of broken slip on the top left of the lid.
