This is one of the most beautiful French enameld casket boxes we have had! It is hinged and footed with lovely bronze dore fittings. It measure 3 1/4" x 2".
The box has a pale yellow enamel ground. It is covered on the lid and sides with turquoise, ruby and opal jewels. The inside has the original satin lining. Excellent condition with some wear to the leather on the bottom. This is a rare and wonderful treasure!

This is a wonderful French faience box decorated by Ulysse Blois et Balon. It is a special presentation box dated April 1932. It measures almost 5" in diameter and 2" high.
Blois is known for his deep Prussian blue glaze decorated with either a stylized swan with an arrow though its body or a large fire breathing dragon. Excellent condition.

This is one of the most exqusiite portrait boxes we've had! It is bronze dore with an applied leafy decoration. The lid has a painting on porcelain portrait of a beautiful Asti lady. The back has the Hutschenreuther crown and shield mark dating it c. 1910-20. The hinged box is 2 1/4" x 2 1/2". Excellent condition.

This beautiful hinged box decorated in the Sevres style was made by Bloch & Cie, c. 1887-1900. It is artist signed M. Garcia. The hinged cartouche shaped box is 3" x 3 1/4" x 1 1/4".
The box has a rose pompaodur ground with raised gold. The lid has a wonderful cartouche with two Cupids. The sides have landscape scenes. Excellent condition.

This is a rare 19th cnetury Sevres style hinged portrait box. It has the first Empire Sevres mark dating c. 1804-09. It is artist signed Dais. The round box is 3 1/3".
The lid has a hand-painted portrait of Napoleon framed by ornate gold paste. there are two floral cartouches on the sides, and the inside is covered with flowers. The ground is a burnt orange. Excellent condition.

This beautiful Limoges Le Tallec box dates c. 1960. Le Tallec is one of the best decorating studios in Paris and now works exclusively for Tiffany & Co. The hinged heart shaped box is 2 3/4"w x 1 3/4"h.
It is decorated with rasied gold stylized flowers with a cobblstone ground. It is all in gold and white. Excellent condition.

This is an unusual and rare Limoges Le Tallec silent butler box dating 1964. Le Tallec is one of the best decorating studios in Paris and now works exclusively for Tiffany & Co. The box has a gold and white handle and a leafy finial. It measures 4 3/4" x 3 1/4" x 1 1/2".
The box is beautifully decorated with raised gold paste stylized flowers on a rich cobalt blue ground. Excellent condition.

This is a superb French bisque baby in a straw trunk. It is marked depose which means registered in French. It measures 6"w x 7 1/2"h.
A lovely quality bagy with a soft pink and white gown and blue and white striped socks is sitting in the trunk which reads "Cabin baggage." This wonderful bisque is featured on page 16 of the book "Children Figurines of Bisque and Chinaware 1850-1950" by Elyse Zorn Karlin. She values it at $350-500. It is in excellent condition.

This is a wonderful Dresden box made by Carl Thieme, c. 1920s. It is in two parts and shaped like a stylized heart. It measures 2 1/4" x 1 3/4".
The box is light peach. The lid and bottom are covered with colorful applied flowers. Excellent with the usual minor flea bites.

This stunning Dresden box was decorated by Helena Wolfsohn, c. 1920-40s. It has two parts and measures 4" wide.
The lid has a hand-painted green monochrome courting scene which was first done by Meissen in the 18th century. Around the scene on the lid, inside the box, and along the bottom are green flowers. The box is in excellent condition.

This is a beautiful ornate Capodimonte box dating c. 1890s. It has the blue crown N mark and measures 7 1/2"w x 6 1/2" x 3 1/2"h.
The box is decorated with colorful flowers and fleur-di-lis all around the sides and on the border of the top. On the center of the top is a lady with four Cupids in relief with a golden cart. The box is hinged and in excellent condition. This is one of the most beautiful Capodimonte boxes we've seen.

We just acquired a wonderful collection of Asian boxes from a South Carolina collector. This is an 18th or early 19th century Chinese box. It measures 2 7/8" x 1"h.
The previous owner has this note inside the box: "Early Willow ware box--Flow Blue."
The sesgin does seem to flow. There is a hand-painted island and lake scene with two swimming ducks. A tree is in the foreground. Excellent condition with two flea bites on the inside rim of the bottom part which doesn't show when in place.
