Minton did some of the very best gilding! This lovely Minton plate dates 1902-1911 and was made special for Tyndall & Van Roden, Philadelphia. The plate is 10 1/3". It has a wonderful raised Art Nouveau gilded design with garlands of gold beading. It has a hairline crack.

This is a gorgeous Irish Belleek woven Forget-Me-Not basket (D1253-4) dating 1921-1954. It measures 5 1/4" and has four strands. It lists for $700-800. It is allwhite with wonderful applied forget-me-not flowers and leaves. Excellent condition.

This early Copeland Spode plate dates c. 1851-1885. It measures 8 1/4". It has a dark green ground with gold on the border which is covered with gilt decoration and lavish pearl and ruby jeweling. The work is just amazing! The inside border is a white and gold fishscale design. The center is a gold star with jewels on the points. Excellent condition with a minor scratch in the center green panel. See photo.

This is an exquisite Copeland Spode plate with the special "Jeweled Porcelain" mark dating it 1891-1910. It was specially made for Osler Manufacturing, London. It is quatrefoil in shape and 9 1/2". The plate has a dark cobalt outer border with gilt bells and garlands of flowers. The rim has turquoise jewels and pearl cabochons with elaborate gold beading. The inner border has a gold and white fishscale decoration. Excellent condition.

This is a rare an unusual Copeland Spode plate dating 1875-90. It is scalloped and measures 8 1/4" >p>What makes this unusual is there are three diamonds and one round center cartouche with wonderful hand-painted game birds. They are framed with gold beads. The plate is cream with elaborate lush gold overlay. Excellent condition with no crazing.
